Based on World Bank classifications, physicists in Lower-Income, Lower-Middle-Income, and Upper-Middle-Income countries are now eligible for membership discounts of up to 90% — making it possible to join for just a few dollars.

How to qualify

Those with verified residency in countries that APS has classified as lower-income, lower-middle-income, or upper-middle-income will automatically be discounted when selecting a membership plan. You will receive a coupon code as part of the process for joining APS, which you can apply to your membership to receive your discount.
