Xi Wang

Assistant Professor of Physics

Xi Wang earned her B.S. in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and her Ph.D. in physics from Florida State University.

    Xi Wang, Ph.D., conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Washington, Seattle, working with Xiaodong Xu, Ph.D., and Daniel Gamelin, Ph.D.. In January 2024, she joined the department of physics at Washington University in St. Louis as an assistant professor. She is a recipient of the 2024 Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award and a Scialog Fellow for Quantum Matter and Information. Her research focuses on bosonic and fermionic many-body interactions and light-matter interactions in two-dimensional moiré superlattices.
