Peter S. Fiske, Ph.D., has had a scientific career in academia, industry, and at two different national labs. He is presently the executive director of the National Alliance for Water Innovation (NAWI), a 10-year, $189M research program sponsored by the Department of Energy to radically reduce the cost and energy of water treatment and reuse, headquartered at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. He is the former CEO of PAX Water Technologies Inc., RAPT Industries, Inc. and is also a frequent lecturer and author on the subject of career and career strategy for early-career scientists. He has given his nationally-recognized workshop Put Your Science to Work to more than 35,000 scientists and engineers in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East.
