    Ahmed Bowbe Sidi is a Mauritanian Ph.D. candidate in computational physics at the University of Tunis El Manar, specializing in ab initio quantum chemistry and computational materials science. His research focuses on modeling molecular interactions and excited-state dynamics in interstellar systems using advanced electronic structure methods. He holds a Master’s degree with honors in nanophysics and nanotechnologies and has a demonstrated track record in high-performance computing. Beyond his research, Ahmed is the co-founder and vice president of the Mauritanian Association of Astronomy, where he leads scientific outreach and STEM education initiatives.
