Invest in physics students for Giving Tuesday

Without funding in areas like physics education, the future for physics students is at risk. When you donate on this Giving Tuesday, you’re ensuring that physics students can continue their education, pursue scientific discovery, and keep science alive for generations to help solve the world’s biggest problems.

Mary Stanek, who supports her late husband’s passion for physics, is making a $10,000 match for $10,000 raised for Giving Tuesday.

Living in the Southwest side of Chicago, Bob Stanek became inspired to help students pursue college. For years, he faithfully supported the APS Bridge Program, which aims to increase the number of Ph.D.s awarded to students from backgrounds that haven’t been traditionally represented in physics. Now, his wife plans to carry on this meaningful tradition in his memory.
